Maxim has been working at the Institute since February 2016.
He is specializing in the global oil market and comprehensive analysis of the fuel and energy complex development in Russia and abroad.
He manages projects for the analysis and forecasting of international commodity markets, as well as specializes in the analysis and predictive modeling of the commodity markets development and national energy balances.
Education and professional experience
In 2014, he graduated from the Economics Department of the Moscow Aviation Institute with a degree in Economics and Enterprise Management.
In 2014-2019, he worked at the Institute of Management Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In 2019-2020, he was a manager in the Strategy Department of UC Rusal.
In 2021-2023, he was a senior analyst at NIIgazeconomika.
In 2023-2024 – Chief Analyst, Head of the Energy Department at the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.
Research interests
Global commodity markets. State energy policy. Strategic planning and forecasting of the Russian fuel and energy complex development. Systematic research of energy markets. Energy cooperation between Russia and foreign countries.
