Renewable Energy in Russia

In 2020, the Institute launched a multi-year program of comprehensive studies of waste management in Russia and the world, incl. prospects, risks and opportunities of waste use for production of electrical and thermal energy, including analysis of the efficiency of incineration plants under construction and planned for construction in the Moscow region, Tatarstan and other regions.

The Institute also monitors and analyzes the wind and solar energy development in Russia.
