Alexey Gromov, Principal Director on Energy Studies of the Institute for Energy and Finance, commented on Russia's decision not to sell oil to countries indicating compliance with the "ceiling" of prices to the Internet portal Pravda.Ru.
At the same time, he told how the introduction of the marginal cost will affect our country. According to the expert, there are problems with the redirection of Russian oil cargoes from Europe to the Asian region."We have been preparing for this "ceiling" for six months because of the likely introduction of the European oil embargo. Russia defends the market rules of the game, acts optimally," the expert said.
"I believe that in the coming months of 2023 we will see a noticeable decline in exports of these energy carriers. But it will gradually recover as logistical problems are solved and the search for available tankers to transport Russian oil, even under the conditions of sanctions," the source concluded.
