Alexey Belogoryev commented to the Pravda.ru Internet portal on the understanding of the processes around Russian gas supplies by German politicians.

The appeal of the German Minister of Economy Robert Habek to Canada to return Russia through the FRG of the Siemens turbine for the Nord Stream gas pipeline suggests that Berlin admits Ottawa's fault in reducing supplies, Alexey Belogoryev told Pravda.Ru.

He added that Habek's statement indicates a complete understanding of the processes around the supply of Russian gas by German politicians.

“This means that Germany is interested in Nord Stream operating at full capacity in order to restore normal gas supply. In reality, politicians in Germany recognize that the problem is related to Siemens gas turbines and are trying to find a solution,” the expert said.
