Mr. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, ONGC Director (Exploration), India, will speak at the 5th International Conference "Risk Management in Energy - 2022"

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, Director (Exploration) of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), India, will take part with a presentation at the 5th International Online Conference "Risk Management in Energy - 2022", which will be held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) on September 22, 2022.

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is an Indian oil and gas explorer and producer. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Government of India. It is the largest government-owned-oil and gas exploration and production corporation in the country, and produces around 70% of India's crude oil (equivalent to around 57% of the country's total demand) and around 84% of its natural gas.

The main aims of the Conference are:

• to discuss and coordinate approaches to solving the most difficult challenges of ensuring energy security in terms of the "energy transition";

• to consider possible solutions for diversifying sources, routes and methods of energy supply taking into account new geopolitical and economic realities;

• to consider the possible ways to overcome increasing vulnerability of energy systems in the transition and its implications for countries with varying levels of hydrocarbon dependency and low-carbon transformation capabilities;

• to discuss the role of power generation in insuring the safe energy transition, including development of solar and other forms of renewable energy generation;

•  to estimate the impact of the transformation of the Russian hydrocarbon and coal industry under sanctions on the global hydrocarbon market and the processes of "energy transition";

• to exchange advanced international experience and best practices in risk management in the energy industry;

• to promote innovative energy technologies, products and services on the world market.
