Alexey Gromov, Principal Director on Energy studies at the Institute for Energy and Finance, commented to the Neft and Capital Internet portal about the reduction in Russian oil supplies to India.
"India does not intend to completely abandon supplies from Russia. But she is ready, and unlike in 2022, it really has the opportunity to do this now, to significantly reduce them. It is likely that New Delhi will eventually be able to reduce them by half. First of all, due to the already growing supplies from the UAE, Angola and Brazil, whose varieties, due to their physico-chemical properties, can replace the Russian Urals," Alexey Gromov believes.
