The London court assessed the timing of the Nord Stream restoration

Belogoryev Alexey M. Research and Development Director, Director of the Center for Energy strategic analysis and forecasting

Alexey Belogoryev, Research and Development Director of the Institute for Energy and Finance, commented to RBC on the prospects for restoring the Nord Stream gas pipeline.

According to Alexey Belogoryev, if we proceed from the assessment given in the court materials of three years for the restoration of the gas pipeline, then "the project has no prospects at all." In his opinion, the return of the Nord Stream to service would make sense only if there were guarantees of its long—term utilization - at least ten years in advance.

"Both rest on the political will of Berlin and partly of Brussels. I don't see any chances of such an agreement in the near future," Belogoryev said.
