Sergey Kondratiev believes that NOVATEK may show interest in joining the project, despite the minority stake and the need for close cooperation with Gazprom.
"This will allow the company to increase the controlled LNG production capacity at a relatively low valuation of the asset," the expert believes. If NOVATEK refuses the stake, Gazprom is likely to get it, Mr. Kondratiev believes, for this you can simply change the criteria for selecting an investor.
