Maxim Shevyrenkov, head of the Center for commodity markets analysis at the Economic Department of the Institute for Energy and Finance, commented to TASS news agency on the new EU sanctions consequences against Russian oil.
Maxim Shevyrenkov believes that the introduction of new sanctions will not have a strong impact. According to him, transshipment of oil and petroleum products at sea is quite common now.
"And, apparently, some exporters will switch to it, and in cases where it is unprofitable, they will use Turkish and Egyptian ports," the expert suggests.
