On the prospects for cooperation between Moscow and Tehran

Alexey Gromov, Principal Director on Energy Studies of the Institute for Energy and Finance, commented to the PRIME Economic Information Agency on the prospects for the development of oil and gas cooperation between Russia and Iran.

"If we talk about how Iran can help overcome the oil embargo, in the current conditions, probably, Iran's help may be limited. Rather, it is a purely political gesture in which we demonstrate the solidarity of the two countries in the face of sanctions opposition or confrontation with Western countries," - Alexey Gromov commented.
