Alexey Gromov, Principal Director on Energy Studies of the Institute for Energy and Finance commented to Forbes regarding the Nord Stream 2 prospects.

“Based on the growing sanctions pressure on Russia, we believe that Nord Stream 2 is a passed stage. Most likely, in the foreseeable future, this project will not be launched. We believe that this project is closed for Russia,” Alexey Gromov told Forbes.
