Belogoryev Alexey M. Research and Development Director, Director of the Center for Energy strategic analysis and forecasting

Alexey Belogoryev, Research and Development Director of the Institute for Energy and Finance, commented to the Vedomosti newspaper about the current dynamics and prospects of demand growth for electricity in China.

Alexey Belogoryev notes that the achievement of maximum electricity consumption in the summer months has become a steady global trend in recent years.

China's demand for Russian energy resources remains consistently high, experts remind. Oil and gas from Russia are an important factor in strengthening China's energy security, they point out.

According to Belogoryev, the total export of Russian gas to China, including LNG, may reach 80-85 billion cubic meters in 2030, compared with about 50 billion cubic meters last year.
