Alexey Belogoryev, Deputy Principal Director on Energy Studies of the Institute for Energy and Finance, commented on the current dynamics of Russian oil prices to Business FM:
"The price of Russian Urals grade oil, which the Ministry of Finance focuses on, that is, Argus company data, has remained the same as in January, no changes occurred. The same 49.5 dollars per barrel. On average, the fluctuations are between 45 and 55 dollars. Most likely, we will see approximately the same indicators in the coming months. Because, judging by the methodology used by Argus, there will be no major changes in this dynamic in the near future. Argus does not see the whole picture of the market, it generally focuses on single transactions."
