Beijing, China, December 14 — Alexey Gromov, Principal Director on Energy Studies of the Institute for Energy and Finance held negotiations with the leadership of the Sino — Russian Energy Research Institute at the China Central University for Nationalities, which is co-founded by the Foundation «Institute for Energy and Finance». The issues of cooperation between the organizations in 2018 were discussed at the talks.
The Sino-Russian Energy Research Institute at the Central University for Nationalities of China was established on December 02, 2016 within the framework of developing expert and analytical cooperation between Russia and China.
The founders of the Institute are from the Russian side — the Foundation «Institute for Energy and Finance» and the Association «SINO-RUS»; from the Chinese side — the Central University for Nationalities, the Institute of Energy of the State Committee for Development and Reform of the PRC and the International Research Center for Energy Security of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The main aim of the Institute is to organize and conduct research and consulting work, as well as expert and analytical support for Russian-Chinese cooperation in the energy sector, incl. investment orientation.
