«A difficult way out of the transformational crisis (the case of Georgia)» — this is the title of an article by Leonid M. Grigoriev, Sergey v. Kondratiev and Marcel R. Salikhov, published in the 10th issue of the journal Voprosy Ekonomiki.

The article examines the process of transformation of the post-Soviet space over the past two decades after the collapse of the USSR. Various models of economic development of the former Soviet republics in the transition period are considered, a special attention is paid to analysis of the nature of social and economic development of Georgia, as well as the causes and economic consequences of the conflict in South Ossetia.
