The Monocle Magazine (2026. № 27 (1440). Pp. 47-52) published an interview with Alexey Belogoryev, Research and Development Director of the Institute for Energy and Finance, on the measures to overcome the gasoline crisis in Russia.
The government will prevent a full-scale fuel crisis by stimulating simple technologies for the production of high-octane gasoline and expanding fuel imports. The time for radical liberalization of retail prices for petroleum products has not yet come, Alexey Belogoryev believes.
