Sergey Kondratiev, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of the Institute for Energy and Finance, gave a comment to Sputnik Uzbekistan on electricity trade in the Central Asian region.

"Electricity supplies from Siberia can contribute to the restoration of a single energy ring not only with the Central Asian countries, but also to the integration with the power systems of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran.
