Export of Russian energy resources

Marcel Salikhov, President of the Institute for Energy and Finance, took part in the program "The Day" on the RBC TV channel, dedicated to the export of Russian energy resources.

The key topics for discussion during the program:

• Gazprom announced a reduction in Nord Stream throughput due to Siemens.

• Russia has overtaken Saudi Arabia in terms of oil supplies to India.

• Russia is increasing steam coal exports to India a thousandfold, delivering more than 40% of last year's volumes in the first quarter.

• Serbia will not be able to receive Russian oil from November due to sanctions.

• The US Treasury allowed until December 5 operations with the Bank of Russia, VEB, Otkritie, Sovcombank, Sberbank, VTB and Alfa-Bank on energy products, despite the sanctions.

• Brent crude topped $125 a barrel for the first time since March 9.
