The article «What Threats to Gas Export?» was published in the 7th issue of the «Oil of Russia» magazine. The article’s authors are Vladimir Feigin, the IEF President, Head of the IEF Energy Department Maria Belova, Head of the Sector of the Energy Department Vitaliy Protasov, Head of the Center for Risk Analysis and Management and Head of the Laboratory at the Institute for Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences Boris Porfiriev and manager at IRM GmbН Y. Minullin.
The article is devoted to risks assessment of the Russian export gas pipelines. The work identified six groups of threats and risks: political, institutional, financial and economic, organizational and managerial, marketing, resource and production, and technological. Using the method of multilevel hierarchical analysis by T. Saati, it was revealed that the greatest danger for Russian export projects is posed by political risks.
