Tariffs for the population for housing and communal services will grow from 2017

Tariffs for the population will begin to grow at an outstripping pace in 2017: for gas with an increase in inflation of 20%, for electricity — 30%. The proposals of the Ministry of Economic Development can compensate the monopolies for the «freeze» of tariffs for industry and their low growth for the population in the next two years. However, industrialists and energy monopolies believe that such measures are not enough, and the rise in tariffs for the population may result in negative social consequences.
