Zulfikar Yurnaidi

Dr Zulfikar Yurnaidi is the Head of Energy Modelling, Policy and Planning (MPP) Department of the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). It consists of four units, namely, modeling-outlook, data-statistics, economic-finance, and socio-climate. His flagship initiatives include the ASEAN Energy Outlook, ASEAN Energy Database System, ASEAN Energy Investment Report, and ASEAN Climate Change and Energy Project.

He was also the Acting Head of Energy Efficiency and Conservation (CEE) Department and the Project Manager of the 7^th ASEAN Energy Outlook (AEO7). Prior to ACE, he was a researcher in the Green Technology Center (GTC) and Ajou University, South Korea. With a PhD in Energy Systems, his expertise focuses on energy modelling, green technologies, and energy economics.
