Sergey Victorovich Mochalnikov, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation

In 1999 Sergey Mochalnikov graduated from the Samara State Technical University with a degree in development and operation of oil and gas fields, in 2004 he graduated from the International Academy of Marketing and Management (Institute) MAMARMEN with a degree in global economics.

In 2001 -2006 he worked at the Altai-Koks company, Altai Territory, Zarinsk, as the First Deputy General Director, then as the General Director.

In 2006-2008 he worked in the Iskono Group of Companies as the Deputy General Director, then as the General Director.

Since 2012 till 2014 Sergey Mochalnikov was the General Director of the Open Joint Stock Company "Russian Fuel Company" - ROSTOPPROM, Moscow.

On October 29, 2014, he was appointed the Director of the Department of Coal and Peat Industry at the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

Since April 6, 2022, he has been appointed the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
