Alireza Shirani

Alireza Shirani, Chairman of Fulmen Group, Board Member of the Iranian Petroleum and Energy Club (IPEC), Iran

Alireza Shirani Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 1988. He has been involved for two years in the Ministry of Energy as a System Engineer in the Energy Division. From 1990 to 1997, he joined the Electric Power Research Center where he was appointed as the Head of the Electrical Department from 1994. In 1997, As an Associated research professor he took on Vice Presidency of Research in the Niroo Research Center and, finally in 2007, he was appointed as the Managing Director of Monenco Iran, a leading global provider of professional engineering and consultancy services.

He also acts as the Executive Chairman of CIGRE – Iran where he has been a distinguished member since 2000. He also holds membership in IEEE.
