Alexander Georgievich Gudkov, Director of the Directorate for Commodity Market Analysis, St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX)

Alexander Gudkov has been working at SPIMEX since 2017. He heads the Directorate for Commodity Market Analysis, develops new models of exchange trading, provides analytical and methodological support for introducing new markets to exchange trading.

In 2013-2017, he headed the Association of Independent Exchange Traders (Commodity Markets Council).

In 2006-2012 he worked as a journalist in the economic policy department of the Kommersant newspaper.

Education – Lomonosov Moscow State University Lomonosov (1999), Faculty of History, academic degree - candidate of historical sciences (2006). In 2014-2015, he completed an additional education program in economics at the Baker Institute for Energy Studies at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
