OPEC+ and Saudi Arabia

The Institute has well-established contacts with the OPEC management and leading experts and frequently attends its events. FIEF provides analytical support to the Russian Ministry of Energy and Rosneft on cooperation with OPEC and participating the OPEC + agreement.

In October 2019, within the framework of the state visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Saudi Arabia, FIEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation (MoU) with the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC). The parties aim at developing an active scientific partnership in the interests of the two countries.
