Since 2014 on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Energy, FIEF has been the main developer of the draft General Scheme for the Development of the Russian Oil Industry for the Period up to 2035.
In 2015–2017 according to the initiative of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and with support of the largest Russian oil companies, an integrated interconnected system of strategic models for the Russian oil industry development was created and continues to function on the FIEF basis.
