The Institute monitors the petrochemical industry development in Russia and conducts research on potential sales markets for the main petrochemical products.
In 2010–2011 FIEF, jointly with the Institute of Contemporary Development carried out one of the most fundamental studies on the development of oil and gas processing in Russia, which has not lost its relevance today:
